土地標售市場報喜！交通部高鐵局昨（4）日公開標售桃園站5筆、新竹站6筆、台中站6筆、台南站4筆等特定(地)區，總計21筆土地，標售總底價達98.21億元；結果分布在4個車站的9筆土地，「遍地開花」開出紅盤。總計標脫率約42.8％，順利標出近50億元、約49.28億元。
其中最大贏家國壽入袋3筆土地，包括桃園站桃1、桃2、新竹站竹6，分別以9.96億、10.53億、10.70億元得標，總計砸進31.19億元，取得面積共3,221坪。這3筆土地也是昨天成功標售出去的土地，金額最大的3筆，總計占總標脫金額的63％，因此國壽堪稱此次進場土地標售的「掃」地大戶。
至於寶佳機構也頗有斬獲，以櫻花建設名義成功得標的台中站中3土地，也是昨天競爭激烈的1標，該地塊為面積720坪的住宅區土地，底價1.73億元，吸引13封標單搶標，最後由櫻花建設以高於底價約47％的2.53億元得標，每坪約35.22萬元。這也是高鐵台中站區住宅區土地歷年來的最高價，同時也讓區內住宅區土地標售首度突破30萬元大關。
另外台中站中4住宅區土地2,570坪土地，由台北知名建商將捷建設，以7.39億元得標。
比較特殊的是，台南站南4土地2,075坪，由塞席爾商以2.47億元得標。
仲量聯行董事總經理趙正義表示，此次高鐵局標售土地的成績，相當亮眼，像桃園站等土地已適當降價，加上地段條件潛力優越，桃園站區附近自用型企業詢問企業總部大樓的潛在需求，也逐漸浮現，再加上區位鄰近國壽委由華泰名品城經營Outlet，具有發展潛力，因此吸引國壽再度加碼。顯示在政府對車站特定區政策逐步明朗後，投資人對周邊發展仍具期待。
全球資產公司經理王維宏表示，自高鐵完工通車以來，國壽應該是最積極布局台灣「西部走廊」高鐵車站特區的民間搶先看企業。根據統計，國壽自2012年9月首度插旗高鐵桃園車站特定區以來，累計已陸續進場標下桃園、新竹和台中站共8萬2,548坪，總計押寶金額達85.59億元，顯示相當看好高鐵沿線的開發潛力。

由台灣棒球名人堂協會與人文遠雄博物館攜手合作推出的「靈魂拼圖-台灣棒球暨名人堂特展」即日起至2017年1月15日於新北市汐止區人文遠雄博物館展出。有台灣棒球百年來近兩百件珍貴文物，供球迷一飽眼福。今日開幕儀式由人文遠雄博物館游冉琪館長、台灣棒球名人堂協會黃瑛坡理事長、國立歷史博物館張譽騰館長、嘉農校友會榮譽會長蔡武璋等貴賓共同出席，會中並由游館長頒發感謝狀予提供文物展出之貴賓蔡武璋、謝明勇、張昭雄、謝榮瑤，並完成金龍少棒勇奪世界冠軍返國之拼圖，為本次展覽主題亮點。
本次展覽以「發展脈絡」、「英雄風雲」及「希望」三大主題拼圖意象來談台灣棒球的發展歷程、奉獻人物和文化樣態。現場珍貴文物包括日治時期已不復見的球具，像是捕手護具、手套及棒球等，另有幾位進入名人堂人士的珍貴文物，例如曾紀恩、謝國城、王貞治、方水泉、吳祥木及徐生明等。
棒球對台灣來說，不單只是項運動，而是有它的「靈」和「魂」存在；它來自於前人的扎根及後人的傳承，蘊含了棒球運動的核心精神；那就是本壘（HOME）的價值：「團隊合作共同回HOME得分」，沒有個人英雄，只有團隊合作。而這些精神透過前人的堅持、不放棄、無愧、拚勁、惜敗、尊重等作為，在不斷積累下形塑了屬於棒球的靈魂。
文化研究者威廉斯（Raymond Williams）說，事實是不會自己說話的，是歷史學家們將過去的殘片拼湊成整體。所以透過棒球這塊「靈魂拼圖」一起來感受臺灣棒球的「靈」與「魂」。「發展脈絡」、「英雄風雲」及「希望」三大拼圖，每塊拼圖皆是臺灣棒球發展歷程的重要歷史見證，也是對進入名人堂英雄們的致敬及緬懷。
本次「靈魂拼圖-臺灣棒球暨名人堂特展」人文遠雄博物館特別和台灣棒球名人堂協會合作舉辦，台灣棒球名人堂協會在2014年 1 月 12 日成立，成立的宗旨，為「給予曾對臺灣棒壇有貢獻的耆老應有的尊重，讓他們的精神傳承下去。」
為此每年 12月底選出入堂人士並於7月進行公開表揚及展覽。2016年選出包括「競技類」的方水泉、徐生明、吳祥木及「特別貢獻類」的廖敏雄等先進。前二屆選出的成員包括2014年第一屆「競技類」的曾紀恩、「特別貢獻類」的謝國城、嚴孝章、洪騰勝及2015年第二屆「競技類」的王貞治。藉由此次展覽一次將他們的事蹟呈現在大家面前。
遠雄自2007年成立「台灣棒球博物館籌備處」，聘請國內外棒球專家、棒球歷史研究學者及博物館學者組成顧問團，進行國內外棒球典藏資源、博物館營運規劃與博物館展示技術等大規模考察研究，希冀整合台灣棒球資源，並以保存棒球歷史文物及敘述台灣棒球發展故事為使命。
人文遠雄博物館籌備臺灣棒球博物館至今十年，目前入庫的典藏品數量已多達三千多件，在此展之前已進行走進校園的「拼圖─走進臺灣棒球巡迴特展」，串聯全臺灣棒球主題館資源，將館內珍貴歷史價值的棒球典藏品，透過博物館的梳理與策劃，開放予全民共享參觀。
